A message about Covid-19 from LWS

The world is reeling from the startling effects of the global pandemic COVID-19, which continues to make global headlines. Our thoughts are with all those directly affected by this pandemic and of course those families staying at home with the kids and relatives - self-isolation is a difficult task with children and we truly understand that!

With South Africa joining other countries on total lock-down to fight this global pandemic, we stand united in an effort to contain the spread of the virus in our country.

We are facing some extraordinary times at present as the nation and the world at large, in order to respond to the challenges that we currently facing with COVID-19, Following the President’s latest announcement of a 21 day lockdown the Lapalala Wilderness School has postpone all the school visit to the LWS until the President of the Republic of South Africa Mr Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa and the government communicate the way forward.

The LWS family is ‘no stranger’ to challenges and we believe wholeheartedly that together we will overcome adversity and get through these trying times. Once this nightmare is over and it is safe again, we will stand up and dust ourselves off, pick up the pieces and start again.

We will survive this too!

Much love and take care of your family and relatives.
